大吃大喝後再少吃一點 魯蛇減肥法也許真的有效

每次想減肥的時候,我們也許常會到網路上去搜尋「最好的減肥法」等等關鍵字,無論低
醣飲食、葡萄柚飲食、還是吃肉減肥等,都是近期最熱門的討論話題,而其中「間歇性斷
食」更是引起許多人的迴響,對於喜愛吃大餐的減肥者們,這無非是一個天大的好消息。
而在2017年5月1日伊利諾大學芝加哥分校(University of Illinois at Chicago)刊登
在《JAMA Intern Med》的研究發現,其實間歇性節食(某幾天吃特別少),比起傳統的
每天都少吃一些,減重效果是差不多的。
該研究招募了100位平均BMI落在34的成年人(18~64歲,男性14位、女性86位),並將他
們隨機分配到維持日常飲食、不用減肥的對照組;「間歇性節食組」則在節食日,被限制
吃所需熱量的25%,而大餐日則能吃進125%;「一般減重組」則每天都少吃25%,兩相平均
起來,不論間歇性節食或一般減重組,都同樣少吃25%的熱量,只是分配方式有所不同。
減重為期6個月後,接著再6個月評估體重減輕的維持效果如何,研究一開始採用雙標水法
(doubly labelled water, DLW)先計算出每個人的熱量需求,並依據它來設計初期3個
月的餐食內容,接著讓營養師來指導參與者如何將同樣的飲食原則維持下去,同時也藉著
7天飲食記錄來監測參與者的食物攝取量。
在減重的6個月期間,兩組平均的體重減輕程度相似,與初始體重相比皆下降了約6.8%(
詳見下圖),而心血管健康的指標數值(如低密度脂蛋白膽固醇水平)的部分,兩組之間
也沒有顯著的差異。
雖然攝取的飲食內容與活動量也會影響減重成功與否,但這種大吃大喝之後再少吃一點的
「魯蛇」減肥法,或許還真的能減下和連續節食者有同樣的效果,下次聽到朋友一邊大吃
一邊宣稱「明天少吃點就好」的時候,就不能再質疑他的選擇了!
