[討論] LV History 歷史 Damier/Monogram Canvas
感覺若喜歡一個品牌 就應該要了解他的原創和歷史：

....in 1888, the Damier Canvas pattern was created by Louis Vuitton,
bearing a logo that reads "marque L. Vuitton d?pos?e", which translates
into "L. Vuitton registered trademark".
....Georges Vuitton began....In 1896, the company launched the signature
Monogram Canvas....Its graphic symbols, including quatrefoils and flowers
(as well as the LV monogram), were based on the trend of using Japanese
and Oriental designs in the late Victorian era.
看了以上這些之後 才知道：
在1888年 經典的棋盤格 "Damier" Canvas 圖案是 Louis Vuitton 本人所原創的
而1896年 Monogram老花圖案 則是他的兒子 Georges Vuitton 所創的
而不是 Louis Vuitton 本人所創(當然1896年時這位偉人已經...) 但也是同樣經典沒錯
還有 沒想到 Monogram老花圖案跟日本還有點關係
此外 老花圖案指的是"花卉"的本意 難怪比較像是女生在用 不過也有看到男生在拿
還真是長了知識。。。
