個人觀感適合台灣天氣絕對是羊>馬>=牛~ 畢竟台灣就算是冬天普遍都2X度...除非來一波寒流... 羊皮雖然數據最厚~但實際上覺得它密度最低~用力壓就變很扁~ 實際穿起來就是軟輕薄相對於牛馬皮~而且英國原廠的回復就是羊皮是合夏天..XDD 但是真的就脆弱~ 能實際去試穿最好~ 補上一段國外網友kronos77跟LL詢問不同皮革差異厚的英國原廠回復~ "Current hides available to choose from at Lewis Leathers are: Cowhide - Available only in black, with a thickness of 1.1mm - 1.3mm, sourced in the UK Horsehide - Available in 9 colours (Black, Navy, Blue, Turquoise, Green, Yellow, Red, Brown, and White), with a thickness of 1.1mm - 1.3mm, sourced in Italy Vegetable Tanned Sheep Napa - Available in 5 colours (Black, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Navy, and Green, with a thickness of 1.2mm - 1.4mm, sourced in France Though the sheep leather is on average thicker than our cow and horse, it is softer and does not offer as much protection as our cow or horse, so is more suited to summer riding and casual wear, and for those who want a vintage look with a much shorter 'breaking in' duration. The cow hide and horsehide both offer high protection and scuff resistance. The cow tends to need less conditioning during the first 4 or 5 years and are remarkably water resistant, however, the breaking in time is longer. Horse hide has a distinct patina and is made up of shorter fibers so develops finer grain and creases while breaking in, favoured by riders who demand both protection and a classic look. Regular conditioning is recommended with horse to encourage the desirable traits and ensure water resistance. Cow hide is the most popular choice amongst our customers, and is what you have most likely seen when looking at our leather jackets. It is no thinner or less protective than the hides Lewis Leathers have used throughout its history for jackets and professional racing suits (worn by Giaomo Agostini and Mike Hailwood to name but two), but due to modern tanning techniques it is more supple, and will be more comfortable, more water and scuff resistant, and will ultimately last longer. All our leather garments are made in UK, with each jacket made in London by a single machinist from start to finish." 簡單翻一下(2016/01) 目前能選的皮革牛皮:黑色only(應該是最近顏色重心都放在馬皮) 來源:英國厚度:1.1mm~1.3mm 馬皮:9個顏色來源:義大利厚度:1.1mm~1.3mm Napa羊皮:5個顏色來源:法國厚度:1.2mm~1.4mm 羊皮: 雖然他厚度其實比較厚，但是實際上他很軟，同時保護性也比牛馬皮差，但他比較適合夏天跟休閒穿著，另外就是breaking-in時間短，可以快速穿出"vintage"的效果牛皮: 高防護性跟防水性，breaking-in時間最長，不過牛皮一直是過去他們最熱門的選項，"ultimately last longer."不確定可不可以當最最耐穿。馬皮: 主要就是容易養成紋路，所以他就是可以兼具保護性跟"classic look" 總結抗磨性:牛>馬>羊，舒適性:羊>>馬>=牛，防水性:牛>馬>羊，皮革紋路養成速度羊>=馬>>牛補充一段另外一位網友"carlos840"關於馬皮的分享的心得~覺得也很有參考價值，根本身的感受還滿接近的 "I think they currently offer their regular cow, which has been their standard since the beginning, sheep, which is very light and more a fashion jacket choice, and more recently, horse. Personally i was a bit underwhelmed by their horse. I think they decided to add it because many nerds like us asked for it, but i don't think they had a clear idea of what horse people like/want.
