我剛剛翻出wesco的boot owner's manual
裡面關於false tongues的序述
THE SIMPLE TRUTH ABOUT FALSE TONGUES.
What exactly are false tongues? And, why should
you lace them into your Wescos? Extra protection
is the answer. Everyday lacing causes wear to the
full grusset tongues of your boots. False tongues
absorb the damage. In addition, these simple cuts
of leather are easily replaced.
